Errata:

  • The symbol "~" (used on the prince's sleeves) should be ecru.
  • Backstitch the border with DMC 610
  • In the triangle portion of the Dragon's tail there are some half stitches that were omitted. According to TW, they should be > with the line under it (DMC blend 793/931)
  • Backstitch the Prince's hair with DMC 611
  • In the bottom left of the triangle part of the Dragon's tail there is a symbol that is not found in the color key. The symbol is a solid arrow pointing to the lower right. According to TW, the color for this symbol should be DMC 3362
  • The symbol that is a square with a vertical line through the center lists a blend of DMC 930/3766 (antique blue dk/gray green dk). 3766 is a very light blue and is not used anywhere else in the pattern. The color should be DMC 3768 (a dark gray green)
  • It was mentioned previously that the white highlight in the Dragon's eye isn't in the instructions. According to my chart, it is found in the backstitch instructions, and is just a white backstitch
  • The SS symbol doesn't actually appear in the chart. It is the symbol for that Vatican Gold cord that is used to work the straight stitches in the border. Note: Complete the border backstitching before working the straight stitches
  • There is a symbol in the background 1/2 stitches to the left of the Dragon, where the background reduces from 3 to 2 stitches. There are two stitches with the symbol - with a dot under it (DMC 524) and then a backstitch line. There appears to be a symbol under the backstitch line. There is some question as to what this symbol is. Sherry S has answered that it is (DMC 794/932), making it part of the Dragon. On my chart it looks like it is (DMC 3033/3782), making it part of the background.
  • Best of TW Fantasy Collection, vol 2 error: The symbol for DMC 613 is incorrectly shown in the color code as a tiny telephone. It shows on the chart as a large aterisk (*)...not to be confused with a very similar looking symbol for the DMC blend 503/927, which looks like an asterisk, but with an open center.
