When/How did you
first start cross stitching?
I first saw counted
cross stitch about 20 years ago. I worked for a large insurance company
at the time and a girl in the mail room was doing it on her lunch hour
in the break room. I asked her all about it and found out where I could
get a little kit ... and I've been hooked ever since.
What do you enjoy
most about cross stitching?
The more detailed a
piece is, the more I get into it. To me, being totally emersed in a piece
of stitching is very relaxing.
What are your favorite
Cross Stitch Subjects?
I enjoy doing
"tea scenes"and samplers and most of all, antique reproductions.
What is your Favorite
TW Design(s)?
Right
now I am working on "Tea and Tarts" and it's been a wonderful piece to
work on. The hardanger edging on the tablecloth is breathtaking ... as
is the entire piece. The subject matter along with the beautiful colors
are truly a work of art.
